EXPLORE KOREAN CULTURE & MORE WITH KCCNYC

 

Though we moved predominently online in the summer of 2020 due to COVID-19, that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped hosting special events to help students and the community learn more about Korean Culture! From Jazz Nights featuring local musicians, Movie Nights (both in-person and online!), Gallery Events, K-Food to K-Pop and K-Beauty - we’re always excited to bring together our amazing KCCNYC community.

  • KCCNYC + 그리다 Art Party • On May 16th, 2022 - KCCNYC held its first in-person event since the start of COVID-19 with a special event with Documentary project 그리다 (Keurida)

  • The Korean Culture Center - NYC hosted its Jazz and Art Nights as a monthly event starting in 2015

  • North Korea Now & Then • North Korea-born filmmaker, Dai Sil Kim-Gibson, came to KCCNYC on March 9, 2019 to discuss relevant issues currently impacting North Korea, including, but not limited to the country's socio-economic transformation over the last half-century and what defining moments will shape its future

  • Hosting renowned Jazz musicians such as Ron Block, Ron McClure, and Thomas Goodman, Jazz Night is a place of gathering for our students and the community around us.
