As the year draws to a close, this playlist captures some of 2024's most defining K-pop tracks. It’s by no means exhaustive—there’s always something that slips through the cracks—but it’s a vibrant snapshot of an unforgettable year.

LE SSERAFIM made waves with their bold and genre-bending releases like “Smart,” “EASY,” and my personal favorite, “CRAZY.” NewJeans, despite navigating public company turmoil, demonstrated resilience and I’m so excited that there may be a silver lining on the horizon. #jeanzforfree.  

2024 was also a huge year for solo projects. Rosé’s anthemic “APT” that got people around the globe pronouncing 트 like pros, Lisa’s infectiously badass moves, and RM’s introspective lyricism solidified the power of individuality within the group-centric industry.
